Mission Statement

The Boost Ohio Kids Coalition is a partnership of AAA clubs, public health agencies, private businesses, and public safety advocacy groups dedicated to protecting and preserving the lives of young passengers on Ohio's roadways through:

• Public awareness campaigns
• Motorist education programs
• Legislative support initiatives

Car crashes are the leading cause of death for KIDS with MORE THAN 2,000 children 14 years and younger dying and nearly 300,000 injured each year.  Child booster seats are designed for children 4-8 years old and are a known lifesaver when properly used with lap shoulder belts.  However, over 60 percent of parents and caregivers still do not use booster seats.
